Trout in the Classroom time! We’re delivering trout eggs to the almost twenty tanks in classrooms all over Fairfield County. Our holiday celebration is tomorrow at Waveny! Doors open at 7 p.m. and we'll have a great spread of finger foods, an open bar, a fun raffle and more. Despite the first blast of winter, we're still looking forward to a great night at Waveny Mansion in New Canaan! This fun, festive and free event is open to all - members, families, guests and friends alike - as we close the door on 2019 and celebrate what was one of our strongest and most active years of river restoration, youth education and veterans support and service yet!

We’re going fishing tomorrow! Details on this free trip via link in bio! Join the Mianus and Naugatuck-Pomperaug Chapters on Saturday, Nov. 23 for this fun, free trip. Fishing will start at 10 a.m. and Jeff Yates will give a walking tour of the river for those interested in learning where and how to find the fish. A free stream-side barbecue will be served at 1 p.m. Bring kids and new anglers who will be wowed by the size of these fish and have a great day with us on the water. The chapter has fly rods and equipment you can borrow if you have never fished for these powerful salmon, or do not have heavier-weight tackle.

Our trip to the Housatonic was great! The fishing was superb and we lucked out with the weather. The bbq wasn’t half bad either. Get out there!
